How to stay lean all year round
While building muscle
It probably sounds like an unrealistic dream
But it is possible
I’ve been training for 2 years
Packed on about 50lb of pure muscle mass
While staying under 15% bodyfat
And you can do the same
A recent study came out about this topic
Subjects got a diet and training plan
Training 3 times per week
And there were 2 diets
Equal in carbs and fat
But the difference was
One diet had a 300 calorie surplus
But here’s the twist
Those calories all came from protein
They weren’t consuming any extra carbs or fats
So then what was the result?
Despite being in a calorie surplus
The second group lost fat
AND
Build muscle
So they gained very little weight
While getting in great shape
So the study pointed out
If you’re consuming enough protein
Your body burns more fat when exercising
So if you’re trying to get more muscular
But you don’t want to start a bulk and gain fat
Give it a shot
It might be difficult to maintain since you’ll be low on carbs
But if you really want it
You now got the blueprint
